Gram3D Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Gram3D LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Gram3D," "we," "us") built Gram3D to turn a property survey and photographs into a 3D house model for landscape design firms. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Gram3D is a business tool used by landscape design/build firms ("Customers," "you") and their staff. It isn't a consumer product, and homeowners whose properties are modeled through it are not Gram3D's own users — see "Property and Third-Party Data" below for how we think about that distinction.
1. What We Collect
Account information: name, email address, and a hashed password when you create an account.
Customer Content you upload: property addresses, survey/site plan files, drone and ground photographs, and any notes or edits you make in the review editor. This can include images of a specific physical property and its surroundings.
Content we generate from it: the house spec (measurements, materials, openings), the 3D model, exported files, and QA renders.
Usage and technical data: standard web request logs (IP address, browser/device type, timestamps), account activity (e.g., when a build is run), and — if you use the desktop application — crash/error information to help us fix bugs. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell this data.
Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe, Inc., our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number ourselves. Stripe receives what it needs to process a charge (payment details, billing address if you provide one) and shares back with us only what we need to run your account: subscription status, plan, and billing history. See the sub-processor table below.
2. How We Use It
- To provide the Service: process your uploads into a 3D model, run the review editor, store and let you download exports.
- To operate your account: authentication, support, billing, and service communications (e.g., "your build finished").
- To improve the Service: understanding which features get used, diagnosing bugs, and — only with your account's explicit opt-in — improving our shared materials library (see below).
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal information or Customer Content, and we do not use Customer Content to train general-purpose AI models for use outside your account.
3. Who We Share It With
We use a small number of service providers (sub-processors) to run Gram3D. Each only receives the data it needs to do its specific job:
| Provider | What it does | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Anthropic (Claude API) | Reads your uploaded survey/photos to draft the house spec (footprint, openings, materials, measurements) | The survey/photo images and files you upload for that job |
| Artlist | Generates seamless material textures (e.g., stucco, siding) from a cropped close-up photo of that material | A small cropped photo of a wall/roof material only — our process deliberately excludes the property address, owner name, or any other customer-identifying text from what's sent here |
| Supabase | Hosts our database and file storage (AWS, us-west-2 region) | Account data, Customer Content, and generated models/exports, encrypted in transit |
| Vercel | Hosts the web application | Standard web request data (IP, timestamps) as part of serving the site |
| Stripe | Processes subscription payments and extra house-credit purchases | Your name, email, and payment details; subscription/plan status is shared back to us. Stripe is PCI-compliant — we never see or store your full card number |
| Resend | Sends account email (team invites, password resets) | The recipient's email address and the content of that specific email |
If we add more processors in the future, we'll update this table with the same level of specificity: what they do, what they receive.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to you).
4. Property and Third-Party Data
A survey or photo you upload may depict a specific real property, which can include details about people who are not Gram3D users (e.g., a homeowner, their family, visible personal property). We collect this only because you — our Customer — chose to upload it as part of your own professional engagement with that property. You're responsible for having the right to capture and upload that material (for example, through your contract or relationship with the property owner) — see Section 3 of the Terms of Service. If a property owner contacts us directly about content uploaded by one of our Customers, we'll direct them to the Customer who uploaded it, since we don't have an independent relationship with them.
5. Shared Materials Library (Opt-In)
Gram3D maintains a per-account materials library by default. We may separately offer an opt-in feature to contribute your account's materials to a shared library visible to other Gram3D customers, to reduce redundant texture generation across the platform. This is off unless you turn it on. If you opt in, any street address or other customer-identifying detail is stripped from the material before it's shared — only the generic material image and its category (e.g., "shingle — charcoal") are shared, never which property or customer it came from.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data and Customer Content for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we'll delete your Customer Content within 90 days, except for what we're required to keep for legal, tax, or security purposes (e.g., records of a dispute), and backup copies that age out on their normal schedule.
7. Your Choices and Rights
- Access and correction: you can view and edit most of your account's data directly in the app (job details, uploads, specs).
- Deletion: you can delete individual jobs, or close your account entirely, from within the app or by contacting us at support@gram3dlabs.com.
- Opt-out of the shared materials library: on by default is "off" — if you've opted in, you can opt back out at any time in account settings.
- Florida's comprehensive privacy law (the Florida Digital Bill of Rights) applies only to very large businesses and doesn't currently create specific statutory rights against a company our size — but we extend the access/correction/deletion choices above to every Customer regardless, because it's the right way to run this.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data — encrypted connections (TLS) in transit, encrypted storage at our hosting provider, and hashed (never plaintext) passwords. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is a business tool and isn't directed to children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 (or under 18 as an account holder).
10. International Users
Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Service changes. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes, we'll give you more direct notice (e.g., email).
